There shall be at least 16" space btwn fryer and surface flames from adjacent cooking equipt unless a minimum 8" high steel or tempered glass baffle plate is installed btwn fryer and surface flames. (NFPA 96)
At the time of this review, the kitchen exhaust hood plan has not been submitted. Please pass on to contractor, do NOT hang kitchen duct without a light test from the Fire Marshal's office.
