This prelim review of a plan for a 2 story church is APPROVED. This was reviewed under 2004 Fl Fire Prevention Code as assembly. The total occupancy load is 797 and this bldg will be protected by a fire alarm and automatic fire sprinkler system. The code analysis is found on page A9.1. Sanctury: 444, Platform: 55, Narthex/Waiting area: 84
Seats are not fixed and are therefore required to be gang clipped in groups of no less than 3 and no more than 7. NFPA 101, 12.7.8.1
There is to be no storage under the platform and risers.
Architect, Ron Scalisi stated interior finish documentation will be on site for the final inspection.

The Fire Sprinkler Design Criteria is OK for the building permit, Noted a separate permit will be required for the fire protection systems. A HOLD has been placed on the Building Permit and NO inspection can be done past the slab until this permit is approved. ***Per FAC 61G15-32.002(6) The shop drawings once submitted are not required to be sealed by an engineer and will not be accepted as such. Please submit a unsealed sprinkler shop drawings.*** Riser to be located in room 113 Mechanical. See page FP1.1.

A 102 HOLD has been placed on the Building Permit and no inspection can be done past the slab until these permits are approved. FACP located in room 126, Mechanical with annunicator up front. The UNDERGROUND CONTRACTOR for the installation & hydro test of the fire sprinkler line will require a separate permit. A HOLD will be placed on the building permit and NO inspection past the slab will be done until this permit is submitted & approved.

Please provide building numbers that are a minimum of 6-inches high on the building and/or suite(s) for commercial. These must be visible and legible from the street, therefore the address number may need to be larger than the minimum 6". (NFPA 1, 10.13.1.2)

Provide a EMERGENCY ACCESS KEY BOX near the main entrance. This box is required because there is a fire sprinkler riser or fire alarm control panel located inside this building. Air handlers with more than 2000 CFM are required to have duct smoke detectors. If these detectors are concealed they shall have a remote visual and audible indicators located in a normally occupied space. (NOTE if there is a FIRE ALARM SYSTEM in the building the duct smoke detector must also be connected to the fire alarm system. In those cases only a visual indicator is required) (NFPA 90A,4.4.2)

FIRE LANES shall be marked with free standing signs with the words "NO PARKING FIRE LANE BY ORDER OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT." Such signs shall be 12" by 18" with a white background & red letters and shall be a minimum of 7-feet in height from the roadway to the bottom part of the sign. The sign shall be within sight of the traffic flow and be a maximum of 60 feet apart.(NFPA 1, 18.2.2.5.8)

The occupant load shall be posted in a conspicuous place near the main entrance/exit from the room.
Please refer to the Fire Marshal Notation on the plans as to the approved maximum occupant load to be posted.
The Posting should read,"Maximum Occupant Load ______ Persons, by order of the Fire Marshal" (NFPA 101, 12.7.8.3.1)
