Plan is for 58,619 toal sq ft (51,977 sq ft 1st floor, 6642 sq ft second floor) 16 plex movie theatre with 2 retail shells. (These have separate permits.) This was reviewed under 2004 Fl Fire Prevention Code as assembly.
Note: Bldg Dept requires a separate permit for the Type II hood over the popcorn.
Although most of the previous comments were answered, 2 comments remain outstanding. Plans are REJECTED until these are addressed.

An ENGINEERED sealed Design Criteria for a fire sprinkler system exceeding 49 heads is required for the building permit. We are unable to approve the plan until this information is provided. (The Design Criteria is not a full set of shop drawing.) THIS IS WHAT IS REQUIRED BY FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 61G15-32.004,(A-J) Common Requirements to All Fire Protection Engineering Documents.
Page P-1 only has the boiler plate langauge. A-J must be addressed by the engineer of record as they are the designer of the system. Each sprinkler system requires it's own criteria. Also, per FSS 633.539(3) the underground fire main must terminate 1 ft above the slab. Pg P-1 must reflect this requirement. Noted fire riser will be located in room 146, (SE backside of bldg).
NOTE: NO SHOP DRAWINGS FOR UNDERGROUND, FIRE SPRINKLER, FIRE ALARM CAN BE SUBMITTED UNTIL A BLDG PERMIT HAS BEEN ISSUED.

(FBC 105.3.1.2(5) We are unable to approve the plan until this information is provided. (The Design Criteria is not a full set of shop drawing.) THIS IS WHAT IS REQUIRED BY FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 61G15-33.006,(A-F) Common Requirements to All Fire Protection Engineering Documents.

IF FACP is not visible from the front door, a remote annunciator must be installed at front door. (NFPA 72 9.6.6) A voice evacuation system is also required. (NFPA 101, 12.3.4.3.4)
