Plan is APPROVED for 72,422 sq ft 3 story County Admin/Auditorium bldg. This was reviewed under 2004 Fl Fire Prevention Code as mixed occupancy. The underground parking garage is reviewed as storage, the upper 2 floors are reviewed as business and assembly. Entire occupancy for the bldg is 1710. The auditorium occupancy load is 548. This bldg is protected by automatic fire sprinklers, fire alarm and smoke evacuation system.

The Fire Sprinkler Design Criteria is OK for the building permit, Noted a separate permit will be required for the fire protection systems. A 102 HOLD has been placed on the Building Permit and no inspection can be done past the slab until these permits are approved. This will be NFPA 13 system. Garage: dry, ordinary haz grp 1, Offices: wet, lgt haz, Computer room: pre-action, dry, lgt haz. Riser is located in sprinkler room in garage which then travels up the central stairway. The Fire Alarm Design Criteria is OK for the building permit, Noted a separate permit will be required for the fire alarm systems. A 102 HOLD has been placed on the Building Permit and no inspection can be done past the slab until these permits are approved. The FACP is located in Elec/Telephone rm 075. (Please label door.) FAAP located across from Security in the hallway. PER KEVIN WISEMAN WHO SPOKE TO THE ENGINEER, THE MANUAL OPERATION SWITICH FOR THE SMOKE EVAC SYSTEM WILL BE LOCATED NEAR THE FAAP, ACROSS FROM SECURITY. The occupant load shall be posted in a conspicuous place near the main entrance/exit from the auditorium room. Please refer to the Fire Marshal Notation on the plans as to the approved maximum occupant load to be posted. The Posting should read,"Maximum Occupant Load 548 Persons, by order of the Fire Marshal" (NFPA 101, 12.7.8.3.1)

Since seats are not fixed to the floor in the auditorium, they shall be ganged clipped in groups not less than 3 and not exceeding 7. (NFPA 101, 12.7.8.1.1) 		6/14/2007 SLM
All doors that have dead bolts shall use thumb type single cylinder. (NFPA 101, 7.2.1.5) This includes the door on "Security Holding" room. Locks shall not require a key, tool or special knowledge to exit a space or room. 6/14/2007 SLM
The UNDERGROUND CONTRACTOR for the installation & hydro test of the fire sprinkler line will require a separate permit. A HOLD will be placed on the building permit and NO inspection past the slab will be done until this permit is submitted & approved. 6/14/2007 SLM

Please provide building numbers that are a minimum of 6-inches high on the building and/or suite(s) for commercial. These must be visible and legible from the street, therefore the address number may need to be larger than the minimum 6". (NFPA 1, 10.13.1.2) 6/14/2007 SLM
Provide a EMERGENCY ACCESS KEY BOX near the main entrance. This box is required because there is a fire sprinkler riser or fire alarm control panel located inside this building.
