These plans are for an interior build-out of 1500 square feet. The occupancy is for a restaurant with 40 seats. Therefore the Occupancy is being reviewed as a Business.
The building is fully protected with fire sprinklers with 1-hour tenant separation walls.
Based on our review the plans are being rejected until the following comments are addressed on the plans:
1. Please identify the location of the existing fire sprinkler heads or indicate on the plans or in a letter form that the existing fire sprinkler system will be modified and a separate fire sprinkler permit will be pulled.
2. On page A-2, you reference 6 burner stoves & griddle, this will require a grease hood per NFPA 96 chapter 4. Please note that on the plans and make sure that the wall behind the cooking equipment meets the requirements of NFPA 96,4.2.3.3
3. Page A-2 the reflective ceiling does not clearly explain what is happening. is this open ceiling with hard ceiling in bathroom please provide detail. This should also reference back to the wall detail showing elevation.

FYI on page M1.1, your CFM rating on the supply is just at 2000, note that code requires a duct smoke detector if the CFM is 2001 or more. Therefore the CFM rating of the HVAC units will be subject to final field verification. See note on page.
