These plans are for a 26 device fire alarm system for a restaurant, utilizing a conventional Fire Lite MS-5012 panel. The plans are REJECTED for the following reasons.

The value of this fire alarm system is $7200.00. Fire alarm systems with values exceeding $5000.00 shall be prepared under the direction of a registered engineer. FBC 105.3.1.2(5) This shall include the requirements set forth by ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 61G15-33.006,(A-F) Common Requirements to All Fire Protection Engineering Documents.

Indicate on the drawings that the horn strobe installed outside is a weather proof device. In addition provide the manufactures specifications indicating this. NFPA 72: 4.3.1.

Per the fire alarm contractor, the devices shown within the seating area are ceiling mount horn strobes. The only manufacturers specifications provided were for wall mount devices. Please provide specs for the ceiling mount horn strobes and also indicate them as such on the plans. NFPA 72: 4.3.1.

It was indicated that the double doors are the main entrance. Relocate the annunciator panel to the vicinity of the double doors. NFPA 101 9.6.6.
