Plans submitted for a fire alarm installed in a 3 story hotel. The plans are APPROVED as submitted with some standard comments below.

The fire alarm dedicated branch circuit and connections (breaker) shall meet the following requirements:
- It shall be mechanically protected to prevent it from being tampered. (ie/ breaker lock.)
- It shall be marked red, accessible only to authorised personnel, and shall be identified as "FIRE ALARM CIRCUIT".
- The location of the disconnecting means shall be permanently identified at the FACP.

Ensure that the audible signals have a sound level of at least 15 db. above average ambient sound level or 5 db. above the maximum sound level having at least 60 second duration, throughout all occupiable areas. Areas in question will be verified at the time of final. (NFPA 72 7.4.2.1)
