Page A.3 shows fire alarm strobe light/horns. Is it truly the intention to install a fire alarm in this building. It is not required. 2/12/13-There will be no fire alarm.

Please provide information on the air handlers. Air handlers with more than 2000 CFM are required to have duct smoke detectors. If these detectors are concealed they shall have a remote visual and audible indicators located in a normally occupied space. (NOTE if there is a FIRE ALARM SYSTEM in the building the duct smoke detector must also be connected to the fire alarm system. The emergency lights are on the ceiling plan. Please show exit signs on the ceiling plans as well. Only place exit signs over the required exit doors as shown on the Life Safety Plan.
Exits shall be marked by an approved sign that is readily visible from any direction of exit access. (NFPA 101, 7.10.1.2)

Please provide building numbers that are a minimum of 6-inches high on the building and/or suite(s) for commercial. These must be visible and legible from the street, therefore the address number may need to be larger than the minimum 6". (NFPA 1, 10.12.1.2) 2/12/2013 smurray
FS 633.061 requires a license or permit of organizations & individuals who: service, recharge, test, mark, inspect, install or hydrotest fire extinguishers. It will be necessary to use a Licensed Fire Extinguisher Contractor for identifying the location & type of extinguisher to use. 2/12/2013 smurray
