The pull station indicated on the plans in the rear of the sales area is 9 feet from both of the exit doors nearby. Per NFPA 72 5.12.6 the pull stations must be located within 5 feet of the exits. This will be verified during the final.

The current building is fully sprinklered and requires the fire sprinkler system to monitor the sprinkler system. The contractor was not aware that the building was sprinklered, and and advised that he will tie into the system if necessary.

Ensure that the audible signals have a sound level of at least 15 db. above average ambient sound level or 5 db. above the maximum sound level having at least 60 second duration, throughout all occupiable areas. Areas in question will be verified at the time of final. NFPA 72 7.4.2.1.
