Plans approved for a 1942 sq ft clubhouse. This was reviewed under the mercantile chapter due to occupancy load under 50 per FFPC 2004, NFPA 101. Occupancy load calculation is as follows: Exercise room w/equipt 4, Office 1, Kitchen 1, Great Room 39 (less concentrated)

Kitchen has a stove on the plans. Per NFPA 1, 50.1.4, a commercial exhaust hood and suppression system will not be required if the stove is residential, at least one fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen, and this facility is not an assembly. Per NFPA 101, an assembly is an occupancy load 50 or more people. If at any time the occupancy load for this building has 50 or more people, or a commercial kitchen stove is installed, then a commercial exhaust hood and suppression system WILL BE REQUIRED.

All doors that have dead bolts shall use thumb type single cylinder.

The elevation of the floor surface on both sides of a door shall not vary by more than a
1/2 inch, and shall be maintained on both sides of the door for a distance not less than the width of the widest leaf. NFPA 101 7.2.1.3.
