1. Identify the commodity of product to be stored.
2. Identify the type storage (racks, pallets, open floor, piles) and arrangement within the storage area of the building.
3. Identify a 36-inch wide aisle that will lead you to the exit.
4. Identify shipping or receiving areas on the plans. Any other operational areas will also have to be identified.
