These plans are for a 54 device fire alarm system for a Class A Mercantile Occupancy. The plans are REJECTED for the following reasons.

The entire fire alarm drawing was submitted using 1/16 scale. The only means that I have to read 1/16 scale is a plan wheel. If possible please design the drawings using a more common architectural scale ie/ 1/8, or 1/4 scale. Per a phone conversation with the designer, the dimensions that CAD shows do not correspond with the distances I am showing with my scale. It appears that there may be an issue with the plotting of the drawing. Please resubmit showing proper scale (NFPA 1:1.14)(NFPA 72:4.5.1.1.) Plan REJECTED.

A sealed Design Criterion for the fire alarm system over $5000.00 is required for the building permit. (FBC 105.3.1.2(5) We are unable to approve the plan until this information is provided. THIS IS WHAT IS REQUIRED BY ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 61G15-33.006,(A-F) Common Requirements to All Fire Protection Engineering Documents.

Please indicate how the live voice public address system announcements are to be made per NFPA 101 37.3.4.3.1.(2)(a). Please indicate where it will be located on the plans.
