The hood and exhaust fans appears to be supported by a wood truss roof.
 
1. Please provide truss engineering modification necessary to support the weight of the hood and exhausts fans.

2. Please provide detail to anchor the hood to the trusses.

Please provide a floor plan showing the location of the hood, dimensions of hood, equipment served by the hood, dimensions of the equipment, and cooking surface overhang dimensions (FMC 507.12). Please refer to FMC 507.13 and indicate the type of equipment proposed for this project.

Please provide a roof layout showing the location of the hood exhaust termination and any other termination within 10'. The minimum separation is 10' per FMC 506.3.12.3.

Please provide hood sizing calculations to comply with FMC 507.13.

 

Please provide calculations to show compliance with the minimum air velocity of 1500 fpm and a maximum of 2500 fpm per FMC 506.3.4.

The makeup air and exhaust air are required to be approximately equal per FMC 508. Please revise the schedule for makeup air.
