Plan REJECTD for kitchen exhaust hood to be installed in new kitchen addition at a school. This was reviewed under 2007 Fl Fire Prevention Code.
Please answer the following:
*Only carbon steel 16 ga or stainless steel 18 ga can be used. Please specify type.
*If the trusses are combustible, 18 inch clearance is required for the duct. If trusses are limited combustible = 6 inch. Please specify type of construction of trusses.
Be advised any reference to a fire suppression is conceptional and a separate permit is required by that contractor installing it.
