Fire alarm in new school, 34 devices. During review found that FACP was located in closet away from entry point of fire department. (NFPA 72.4.4.6.1.1)
2/19/09 at 8:15 AM, made contact with Alarm Company, Spoke to John Bovinette, pointed out the problem with FACP location, and he indicated that they needed to add a remote annunciator or relocate the FACP. He asked if he could call back.
I am rejection the plans but will hold the plan on my desk until Friday 2/20/09 waiting on John's return call. If I don't here from him by then end of the day Friday I will place the plans in the rejected bin to be returned to the contractor.
