Plan APPROVED for interior buidout of 1850 sqft unit for a recording studio inside a building not protected by fire sprinklers. This is reviewed under 2010 Fl Fire Prevention Code as business.

Typically recording studios have sound insulation on the walls and ceilings to achieve the sound desired. Although the architect has specified the required finish, the method of obtaining the required interior finish and all documents pertaining to the materials and application of finishes be provided before approval of this plan by the Fire Marshal's office. (NFPA 101, 38.3.3.2)
11/16/12-Documentation has been provided. The walls are double with insulation inbetween. The owner said there will be only drywall exposed.

FS 633.061 requires a license or permit of organizations & individuals who: service, recharge, test, mark, inspect, install or hydrotest fire extinguishers. It will be necessary to use a Licensed Fire Extinguisher Contractor for identifying the location & type of extinguisher to use.
