Plan is for 11,500 sq ft IBO of space in an existing strip mall. There are several 4 hour walls, therefore this bldg does not have fire sprinklers or fire alarm. This was reviewed under 2004 Fl Fire Prevention Code as Class B Mercantile. These plans are rejected until the following information is provided.

There are over a dozen suites in this strip mall addressed 525. Clearly identify the suite number.

Submit a plan with a furniture plan showing that aisles are maintained at 36 inches. (NFPA 101, 36.2.5.5)
Also in order to determine the correct amount of exits required, show travel distances using the designated exits as well as the occupancy load. (NFPA 1, 1.14)

There are no shopping carts or a buggy allowed in the store, as there is no designated area for parking the carts or buggies on the plans.(NFPA 101, 36.2.5.10)

Air handles with more than 2000 CFM is required to have duct smoke detectors. If these detectors are concealed they shall have a remote visual and audible indicators located in a normally occupied space. (NFPA 90A,4.4.2)
