Plan APPROVED for 5000 sqft interior remodel from one mercantile to another mercantile protected with fire sprinkler system. This is reviewed under 2010 Fl Fire Prevention Code as mercantile.

Walls are being removed and relocated. The scope of work for this project is in the area of an existing fire sprinkler system. A separate fire sprinkler permit is required for any modification to this system. A hold is placed on the Building Permit and no inspections will be done until this Fire Sprinkler Permit is submitted & approved. (NFPA 1,13.1.1.1)

Locks on exit doors or access exit doors shall not require the use of a key, a tool, or special knowledge or effort for operation from the egress side unless they meet the requirements of NFPA 101, 7.2.1.5.

FS 633.061 requires a license or permit of organizations & individuals who: service, recharge, test, mark, inspect, install or hydrotest fire extinguishers. It will be necessary to use a Licensed Fire Extinguisher Contractor for identifying the location & type of extinguisher to use.
