This project is proposing a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The proposed BESS will be an energy storage system designed to store power generated by the nearby solar farm to supply power into the electric grid powering FPL customers. The energy storage containers will store power generated by solar farms during low demand hours (mid-day/night-time) and discharge power during high demand hours (morning/evening). The system promotes grid stability and reliability.
